A Letter from Master Mike

Hello and welcome to www.mastermike.com. I have taught Tae Kwon Do for thirty years and have dedicated my life to this ancient martial art which I learned under Grand Master Song Jay Park, Ki Duk Leg, Moo Gil Lee, Chul Ku Yoon and many other Masters. I hope that by choosing to study at Master Mike’s Tae Kwon  Do, you will learn the five main tenets of Tae Kwon Do: Courtesy, Integrity, Self Confidence, Perseverance and Indomitable Spirit. In Korea, the dojang (training hall) was and is still a very important aspect of a student’s life. Students who make the mental, physical and time commitment to study Tae Kwon Do are rewarded with the teachings and philosophies of an art whose origins dates back to over 2000 years ago. Our students develop unity and camaraderie and seek to maximize their physical potential and mental abilities. Through these activities, our students gain self esteem, a positive attitude, pride through accomplishment, and develop highly refined and perfected athletic abilities.

To the parents of our students, I thank you for your time and dedication to get your child to and from class each week. You are to be applauded for your desire and commitment to help your child become the best they can be. You truly have my deepest thanks and gratitude for your trust in me and my teaching.

I  look forward to sharing with you my enthusiasm for Tae Kwon Do. If you ever have any comments, questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach me directly at (317) 253-9649.

Sincerely,

Master Mike Marienthal

    Greetings

I have been out with an inability to do TKD…In my new found maturity, I have been attempting to allow an injury heal. It has not.
Also, Juice has been playing rugby all over Indiana, Detroit and this week, Lake Forest, IL. He is really loving the commraderee with his team mates.
Will you be going to the Tournament? Will you need/want my help?
Skeen has Debate at Brebeuf Saturday…so, if you think it would be helpful to someone, I can come. If not, i will work at Debate or go to Lake Forest.

    Hope all is ok….Palmer c 432-7943
